OnePlus officially confirmed that they are going to release a new mid-range smartphone in India and many other countries. According to leaks and rumors, the device will be called as OnePlus Nord or may be Nord by OnePlus. Rumors say that device will come with a new dual front selfie camera and it is the first time in the history of OnePlus.

This Nord by OnePlus string code was listed on Amazon India web page and someone detected it, that means the device will come very soon. According to reports, the OnePlus Nord will feature a dual 32MP + 8MP front facing camera.

The camera cut-out will be placed at the left top corner of the device and this position is obvious because the OnePlus 8 series has also left top corner camera cut-out. Reports also confirmed that OnePlus has finalized dual cameras for Nord. There is a little bit of confusion here and that is “Nord”, it may be a new sub brand of OnePlus or new device series of OnePlus.

According to Max J., OnePlus had cancelled an earlier prototype that featured a single front facing camera. Now Max J. confirmed that Nord will feature a dual front facing camera. Max J. is a very famous tipster, and gives accurate licks. They also said that the earlier render of the OnePlus Z was a prototype not an actual leak.

Let’s talk about other specifications of OnePlus Z

The OnePlus Nord (also called as OnePlus Z) will feature a Snapdragon 765G processor. The OnePlus Z will feature an AMOLED display with probably 90Hz refresh rate. This device might have a quad rear facing camera and 30W fast WARP charging technology.

Companies gaining a high amount of customers in their premium series segment, they know about Indian mid-range device market. OnePlus wants more customers. That is a reason behind this initial step of launching mid-range smartphones in Indian market (other European countries also).

There are lots-of companies that are selling mid-range and budget devices in Indian market and getting high response from customers for ex: Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme, Samsung and many more.
