Realme GT 5G to launch before Diwali in India, Specifications & Price

Realme has just launched the Realme GT 5G on Tuesday and will compete against the latest 5G launches in Indian. Madhav Sheth, the CEO of the company for India and Europe, has revealed that the audience can expect the launch on the smartphone in India “Just before Diwali”. Based on this, we assume that the launch of the Realme GT 5G would be around the end of October, which is just before the Diwali date, November 2. 

Launched in China earlier, the smartphone will be launched in selective countries such as Poland, Russia, Spain etc in Europe. It will be available at a discounted price in Europe for the Amazon Prime sale between June 21-22. Dashing Blue, Dashing Silver and Racing Yellow are the expected colours the smartphone is going to be featuring at the launch.

In terms of the specifications of the Realme GT 5G, it measures 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4mm and weighs 186 grams. Having a 6.43 inch AMOLED display supporting 120Hz high refresh rate. It features a screen resolution of 1080x 2400 pixels with touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The device will be Powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC with the Adreno 660 GPU, it will run on Android 11. It comes with 8GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. 

Containing a 4500mAh battery with super fast charging support of 65W. Realme claims that the battery can go from 0 to 100 in 35 minutes of charging. The smartphone supports bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS and WiFi connectivity. In terms of camera, the phone is a 64 MP primary shooter and 16MP for the selfie camera. According to the company details, the rear camera can shoot 4K 60fps and the front camera can shoot 1080p 30fps. 

Compared with the prices of China and Europe for the same smartphone, the base variant is most likely to be priced at Rs. 35,000.
