Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition with Exynos 9611 SoC launched in India: Price, Specs

A new entry in the Samsung M series and the latest affordable smartphone by the South Korean manufacturing company, Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 edition in India. After high anticipation and multiple leaks, Samsung kept up its end of the promise with the launch of this phone and came as a better version of the M21 that was launched last year. The smartphone will go live on the Samsung website and will be available on Amazon from July 26 onwards. Customers buying from amazon will get a 10% instant discount on HDFC bank credit cards.

The company took to Twitter to announce the launch of this phone and has branded it the “WattaMonster.” Head of mobile marketing of Samsung India, Aditya Babbar said that the smartphone received a positive response from the Gen Z audience when released last year and the 2021 edition is set to deliver a powerful experience to the consumers.

In terms of the specifications, the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition is set to run on Android 11 on One UI core and will be powered by octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC and the Mali-G72 GPU MP3. With a 6.4 inch FHD+ super AMOLED display, 60Hz refresh rate, 1080×2340 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, the M21 2021 edition is set to have the upto 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, paired with 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 512GB with the help of a MicroSD card.

The sensors that the smartphone contains are the ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer and the fingerprint sensor which will be located at the rear of the phone. 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB-Type C port, GPS and a headphone jack are the connectivity features that this phone packs.

Moreover, the smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. For the camera, it boasts a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter, 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, it has a 20MP front camera. The sensor of the primary shooter is Samsung’s own ISOCELL GM2.

The Galaxy M21 2021 Edition has been released in India in two different variants. The 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage which is priced at Rs. 12,499 and the 6GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage version which is priced at Rs. 14,499. The phone comes in two colour schemes; Arctic Blue and Charcoal black.
