Chinese multinational electronics company Xiaomi is finally all set to launch its new smartphone – the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 which is a successor to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 that was launched three years back in 2018. The new mobile will be unveiled later this year probably in the third quarter.
The new smartphone’s most prominent feature is its under-display selfie camera. It is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The smartphone houses a battery of 4,500 mAh power with support for 120W fast charging. Apart from this the mobile features a Full-HD + High resolution display and according to various reports, the brand is working to make the display even better with increased sharpness that would make it better than the current screens having a resolution of 1080 pixels.
Perhaps, the under-display front camera is the most talked feature of this mobile which is one of a kind and basically means that the camera will be underneath the display screen but with the inclusion of this feature one disadvantage arises and that is that the smartphone developers can’t enhance the resolution of the screen beyond a certain point.
There are also rumours that claim that the smartphone will be similar to Xiaomi Mi 11 and Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in terms of its features and specifications but at a higher price given that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will be featuring the under display front camera.
But it is to be noted that the technology of the under display selfie camera hasn’t been of much success until now with other major brands like Samsung still trying to improve the technology. It will be interesting to see what kind of reactions Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 receives for this feature once it is rolled out in the upcoming months. More details are expected to be released by the company in the upcoming months.
